Co-Creating a New Myth of Unity and Abundance
What if the story we tell about ourselves—our world, our future—is not fixed? What if, together, we could write a new myth that uplifts, unites, and inspires every soul on this planet?
For centuries, myths have shaped cultures, values, and identities. Yet many old stories celebrate division, scarcity, and conflict. Today, we stand at a crossroads. The old narratives are breaking down, inviting us to co-create a new myth—one of unity, harmony, and abundance.
Imagine a world where cooperation is the hero’s journey, compassion the guiding light, and inclusive abundance the treasure at the end. This is not just fantasy; it is already unfolding in communities around the globe. In Kenya, villagers resolved long-standing conflicts by reviving ancient storytelling circles that honor shared humanity. In Brazil, an environmental movement rooted in indigenous wisdom champions both nature and economy, proving prosperity and preservation can coexist.
The new myth asks us to see past boundaries. It challenges us:
- How do your stories shape the way you see others and yourself?
- What myths hold you back, and which ones could liberate you?
- How can everyday acts feed a collective narrative of hope rather than fear?
Writing this myth requires intention and action. Start small: share stories that highlight common humanity. Celebrate moments of kindness, resilience, and collaboration. Seek perspectives beyond your own. Each conversation, each connection, is a strand in the tapestry of a new global myth.
What if the hero’s journey wasn’t about conquering others but healing together? What if abundance meant access for all instead of a select few? This myth reframes prosperity as flourishing relationships, vibrant ecosystems, and shared joy.
Today, you are invited to be a co-author. Reflect on the narratives you live by and ask:
- Which stories inspire you to build bridges instead of walls?
- How might you rewrite your inner script to reflect hope and inclusion?
The power of myth is not in what is written but in how it moves us to act. Let us choose stories that unite rather than divide, that heal rather than harm, that inspire a future where everyone belongs.
Please take a moment—what new myth will you write with your life? How will you help others see the possibility of a united, harmonious, and abundant world?
Thank you for being part of this collective awakening. Together, our stories can transform the world.

Nice essay, and I like the reference to The Hero's Journey. I also love what you’re calling for: a larger, inspiring story that connects a nation’s history to its future. One small thought for you. Maybe it's just me, but the word "myth" sometimes carries a connotation of "falsehood" or "manipulation." If you want to avoid that (and again, maybe it's just me) you might consider a descriptive phrase like "national narrative," or "shared story," or even "mythos," which all carry the meaning you’re after without the unintended baggage. Otherwise, I love your bold vision, and I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
